Timofey Tarasov, Chief Executive Officer of the Russian Sea Group, said:

«At the end of 2011 we won a tender for 9 sites in Barents and White Sea basins destined for salmon and trout farming. This event is especially important for us as it terminates the creation of the Company’s portfolio of sites for Aquaculture. The total potential of “Russian Sea” sites makes it possible in future to meet almost a half of Russian salmon and trout market demand that is currently almost entirely met through imports from Norway. This step is extremely important for Russian Sea Group on its way to develop the young but very prospective Russian aquaculture sector».
